D. Sinclaire Owen Welch

Sinclaire is a planner. She believes that the estate planning process is not only a necessary part of your family’s well-being, but also a way to honor your legacy and cherish those you love.

As a trust and estate planning attorney, Sinclaire helps you plan for the future by directing your assets to your beneficiaries through a last will and testament or protecting them through a trust. She can also assist you and your family in managing healthcare and financial decisions through designated powers of attorney. To help ensure your legacy is productive, she can connect you with trusted wealth management experts. In every step, Sinclaire listens carefully to your needs and works to align her guidance with your specific goals.

Sinclaire graduated from Campbell Law School, where she competed for and received the Cheshire Schneider Advocacy Scholarship. During her time at Campbell Law, Sinclaire concentrated her studies and internship experiences in estate, tax, and business law. Prior to starting law school, Sinclaire worked in the North Carolina Senate serving as a legislative assistant, working with legislators, constituents, and lobbyists. Sinclaire is a proud alumna of Meredith College.

As a Raleigh native, Sinclaire is a strong proponent of the Triangle’s growth and serves on the Raleigh Convention Center and Performing Arts Commission. When she is not in the office, Sinclaire enjoys practicing yoga and cherishing time with her son, Homer.
