John Garrett, III

John Garrett focuses his practice on commercial real estate and related business matters. He assists clients with real estate transactions, title examinations, due diligence, leasing, development matters, and commercial landlord-tenant disputes. Before joining MITA Law, John practiced civil litigation, representing clients in workers’ compensation and personal injury matters.

John received his B.A. in Peace, War, and Defense from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2018. He earned his J.D. from Campbell University School of Law in 2021 and is licensed to practice law in North Carolina.

Born and raised in Raleigh, John enjoys heading to the beach, playing golf, cheering on the Tar Heels, and spending time with his wife, Arissa, their dog, Charlie, and his family.
